Delicious Homemade Burger With Keto Buns

Homemade burger patty and bun topped with avocado, cheese, fried mushroom and hot sauce

Ingredients

For The Burger Patties

  • 500 g Beef Mince
  • 1 Egg
  • 3 TBLS Onion Powder
  • 1 TBLS Paprika
  • 1 Tsp Dried Parsley
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

For The Buns

  • 1 1/4 Cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Cup Hot Water
  • 5 TBLS Psyllium Husk Powder
  • 3 Egg Whites Whisked until white
  • 1 TBLS Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 Tsp Instand Yeast This gives the bread a bready flavour

Instructions

For The Burger Patties

  1. Mix all the ingredients together until the meaty mixture sticks together nicely

  2. Separate into 4 balls

  3. Flatten Eat Ball and fry until done

For The Buns

  1. Pre Heat your Oven to 180 degrees celsius

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients together

  3. Boil the water and let it sit for a while

  4. Whisk the egg whites, only slights, just until they turn white and start to get a little fluffy

  5. Add the egg white and apple cider vinegar to the dry ingredients and mix well

  6. Add the hot water and blend with a blender until well combined

  7. Divide the dough into 4 balls and place them on a lined baking tray

  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until done.
